DONATION AND CASEWORKERS WELCOME DURING HOURS IN RED - NO CLIENTS *
We recommend that caseworkers come with clients due to the language issues and the fact that you know their situation of need.  In the case of furniture, clients can come alone if they have a confirmation letter and can communicate well with us.

We realize that furniture transportation is a problem. Clients can come alone during pickup hours to get furniture as long as they have a confirmation letter.  They must have transportation for the large items. We do not tag or hold goods.

A wish is good for 30 days.

If we do not have an item, we are happy to extend a wish and work with you to get your client that item. Beds are always in short supply.

Caseworkers can come alone and shop at your convenience for small goods such as clothing, small home and baby goods. Please just fill out our forms when you are at the warehouse.

Coats are available in our waiting room NO PAPERWORK NECESSARY during winter months.  No wish is needed for those coats and clients may stop by and pick them up due to the urgent nature of the need.    We appreciate a wish, but if it is am emergency we are going to try this system.

Membership pays! Programs can join under large agencies

The average value of goods given out per client out is ~ $60 if your client went to a thrift store to purchase the same items

Furniture for one apartment has a thrift store value of  ~ $600/family  (used beds are free and new beds are $80, which is what we pay to get them)

Seasonal Project goods (such as backpacks, Easter Baskets or Christmas gifts average in value ~ $40/person

In December of 2006, our Wish Christmas the Project alone gifted 7,000 plus clients for a total value of $160,000 worth of new goods

This area is for social service agencies and their representatives only

We do appreciate your support by paying a one-time $200/year membership fee. However, we do not limit wish goods based on a fee (used goods that are donated to us).   If you have clients in need, we are happy to accept your wishes.  Only member agencies may participate in seasonal programs that provide new goods (backpacks, turkey baskets, Mother's Day gift bags and more).

If you belong to a large agency, your sub program may join as well.  For each fee, a group gets an equal share of that season's new goods.  More fees mean we can expand the projects and everybody wins.  Seasonal projects involve a substantial staff and financial investment on our part.
